1. Who we are
SAT Angel ("we," "us," "our") provides online SAT preparation tools, including practice questions, AI-generated explanations, and score tracking. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, and password (or login provider) when you create an account.
Payment information: processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your card number. We receive confirmation of payment and a Stripe customer ID.
Usage data: practice questions attempted, answers, scores, and time spent, used to power your dashboard and progress tracking.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically for security and analytics.
3. How we use your information
To provide and improve the practice platform and your personalized dashboard
To process payments and manage subscriptions
To send you service-related emails (e.g. purchase confirmation, password resets)
To respond to support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share information with
Stripe — payment processing
Neon (Postgres database) — account storage and authentication
Anthropic — to generate answer explanations (question content only, not personally identifying information, is sent for this purpose)
We do not share your data with advertisers.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember basic preferences. We don't currently use analytics or marketing cookies — if that changes, this section will be updated to disclose them specifically.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing satangelprep@gmail.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA.
8. Children's privacy
SAT Angel is intended for use by individuals 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
